India - Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra's fight against Covid-19 of

Mumbai, India - June 2021 - The Salesian organization "Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra" of Ahmednagar is working relentlessly in the fight against Covid-19: it has distributed inhalers to more than 4,000 families; supported 360 families in the Nagar region with food for two weeks, and procured medicine kits and oxygen concentrators. In the last two months, 377 patients recovered from the “Covid Care Center” that the “Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra” manages on its campus have been discharged. Also, the Indian Catholic Association of Central Texas (ICA) sent to "Don Bosco Nerul", Navi (Mumbai), 15 oxygen concentrators which, added to another 25 procured by the Salesians, and were distributed in areas of various states of the country, along with oximeters and medicines. Efforts are now focused on helping village health workers and meeting the need for oxygen.
