Turin, Italy - June 2021 - On the afternoon of Saturday 12 June, at the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Valdocco, by the imposition of hands and the consecratory prayer of Msgr. Guido Fiandino, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Turin, nine Salesians were ordained deacons: Luca Casari (ILE), Marco Cazzato (ICP), Sanjin Jurić (CRO), Mark Naidzich (PLE), Gerald Alakwe Oshiobugie (AFW), Amal Franklin Pathrose (INM), Mikhail Radzevich (PLE), Damiano Slanzi (INE) and Caius TobeChukwu Ugwu (AFW). The ceremony was concelebrated by Fr Leonardo Mancini, Superior of the Special Circumscription of Piedmont, Aosta Valley and Lithuania (ICP), and Fr Marek Chrzan, Director of the Don Bosco "Crocetta" International Institute.
