Oostende, Belgium - June 2021 - Twelve young people from "De Takel Oostende", a Salesian organization that works in favor of young people in socially vulnerable situations, will make an adventurous 120 km journey through the Alps to Turin from 4 to 18 July to reach the places of Don Bosco. The goal of this mountain expedition is to help young people overcome their limits and regain self-confidence. The mountains and nature itself are sure to arouse inspiration, admiration, reflection, and give the energy to dare and look ahead. During the journey, and already in the preparation phase, the youths learn a lot - and in a short time - about working together, taking responsibility, and dealing with setbacks. This intense life experience that will instill self-esteem, self-confidence, and a sense of responsibility is sure to help young people find their way in life.
