Panama City, Panama - June 2021 - From 24 to 27 June Fr Ángel Prado, Central America (CAM) Provincial, visited the "Don Bosco Technical Institute" (ITDB) in Panama. During this time, Fr Prado noted the progress of the innovations and renovations carried out in the labs and workshops and the installation of new equipment. He also participated in working meetings with the administrative staff and the advisory board that presented the status of the projects and the general situation of the work itself, as well as the strategies for dealing with the emergency caused by the pandemic. The young people of the ITDB participated, in an atmosphere of joy and hope, in the Eucharist presided over by the Provincial, also transmitted digitally due to the restrictions in force in the country. Fr Prado said he was very pleased, happy and grateful for the commitment, effort and dedication of the entire educational and pastoral community of the ITDB which, despite the difficulties, continued to develop academic activities and foster Salesian accompaniment.
