Santiago de Compostela, Spain - July 2021 - The traditional Theological Pastoral Refresher Course organized by the Formation and Community Delegation of the "St James the Greater" Salesian Province (SSM) took place from 22 to 24 July. 23 Salesians from various works in Spain participated in the course, which on this occasion was led by Fr Fabio Attard, former General Councilor for Youth Ministry, currently Coordinator of the Ongoing Formation Project for Salesians and Laity in Europe. The course focused on the theme “Rereading the Salesian charism today: new scenarios, new challenges”. Fr Attard addressed issues such as pastoral experience in recent years; Salesian youth ministry as a dynamic and fluid “polyhedron”; the Educational-Pastoral Project as a living experience and the surprises and opportunities that pastoral care can bring in pandemic times. "Father Fabio Attard attracted everyone's attention right from the start, thanks to the method that favored interaction over content.
