Peru - Ten young Venezuelan migrants receive motorcycles for home deliveries

30 July 2021

Lima, Peru - July 2021 - The "Don Bosco House" in Magdalena del Mar, of the Salesian Province of Peru (PER), has delivered a third batch of motorcycles to ten young Venezuelan migrants so that they can work in home deliveries. With this delivery, 30 motorcycles have been supplied by “Casa Don Bosco” to as many young people who have come to Peru with the hope of going forward and helping their families in Venezuela. In total, over 450 young people between 18 and 25 have had the opportunity to grow thanks to the Salesians of the house. The purchase of the motorcycles, delivered by Fr Manuel Cayo, Superior of the PER Province, was made possible thanks to the fact that the first group of young people who benefited from this work entrepreneurship project finished paying for the motorcycle received; with that money the Salesians were able to buy a new lot for the benefit of 10 other young people.
