Kenya – 2021 annual meeting of "Don Bosco Tech Africa" board of directors

Nairobi, Kenya - August 2021 - On 2 and 3 August the Board of Directors of "Don Bosco Tech Africa" ​​(DBTA), the body that coordinates all the Salesian Vocational Training Centers (CFP) in Africa and Madagascar, held its annual meeting. The appointment was chaired by Fr Simon Asira, AFE Provincial and DBTA President, and was also attended by the Regional Councilor for Africa-Madagascar, Fr Alphonse Owoudou; by the Executive Director of the DBTA, Fr George TJ, and by the Salesians Fr Fredrick Swai, Fr Emmanuel Kanuma, and Fr Alfiado Mabui. During the meeting, Fr ​​George TJ presented a report on last year's activities and current and future projects. Other issues examined were the job descriptions of the Youth Ministry Delegate (YMD), the Provincial Coordinator for Vocational Training (P-TVET), and the Job Service Officer (JSO); the implementation of Quality Management Systems, the implementation of the DBTA theory of change and the sustainability of the entity. In addition, the communication department of the DBTA presented a report on its activities.
