Krakow, Poland - October 2021 - On October 16, the 13th edition of the National Five-a-side Football Championship of the Theological Seminaries of Poland took place, in which 13 teams participated. The initiative was organized out thanks to the initiative of the young Salesians of the Interprovincial Theologate of Krakow, who played the host and are the current holders of the title. The championship began with a prayer and the Eucharist presided over by Fr Marcin Kaznowski, Provincial of the Krakow Province (PLS), who during the homily underlined, among other things, the importance of sport in the religious education of younger generations. Then the teams went to two sports halls to play the tournament, which was won by the Tarnów Seminary team. The Salesian team of the Krakow Inter-Provincial Theologate finished in fourth place and its goalkeeper Stanisław Karsznia was judged the champion of the tournament.
