Ląd, Poland - December 2021 - Dozens of young people from the 19 Salesian centers and communities of the Salesian Youth Movement in North-Western Poland met from 27 to 29 December for the Youth Chapter, to represent their peers and offer some indications to the Salesians from the Piła Province who are preparing for the 14th Provincial Chapter. The meeting began with vespers and the "good night" of the moderator of the 14th Provincial Chapter, Fr Mariusz Chamarczuk, SDB, who stressed that after reflecting on the identity of the Salesians today and on presence among the young, now “we want hear what young people have to tell us”. The young people reflected, among other things, on what they owe to the Salesians, on their experiences, and on the possibilities and opportunities of the Salesian house. Then there was the meeting of the representatives of the SYM and the Salesian Family with the sharing of experiences; a final document approved by the Youth Chapter was then presented. The event ended with a solemn Eucharist presided over by Fr Tadeusz Itrych, SDB, PLN Provincial, who during the homily encouraged those present to follow the Strenna 2022 of the Rector Major: "Do all through love, nothing through constraint".
