Vietnam - Salesian Cooperators of Da Lat City resume their activities
Da Lat City, Vietnam - December 2021 - After seven months of meetings being suspended due to the pandemic, last month a meeting of the Salesian Cooperators took place in the "Center for the Cooperators of Mary Help of Christians" in the presence of Fr Toma Vu Kim Long, Rector of the “Don Rua Academy” of Da Lat, and Fr Joseph Do Duc Dung, Provincial Delegate for Formation. After the introductory Mass, the participants experienced a moment of sharing, followed by a report by Mr. Peter Le Thanh Bao, Coordinator of the Center, who highlighted how the center currently has 37 Salesian Cooperators and 7 candidates who work in three works: school for poor children, boarding school for students and boarding school for aspirants. Subsequently, Mr. Le Huu Phuoc shared some information on the Vietnamese Association of Salesian Cooperators at the provincial level, and on the planned organization of the Vietnam Salesian Family Day in two forms - face-to-face and online - and also on Youth Ministry activities aimed at young people during and after the pandemic.
