Krakow, Poland - January 2022 - On January 6, the feast day of the Epiphany, following a tradition that began in 2008 (with a modest procession in Warsaw), the "Procession of the Three Kings" took place in over 600 Polish cities and towns. Pope Francis also recalled this after the Angelus: "In this regard, I encourage evangelization initiatives that take their cue from the traditions of the Epiphany and which, in the current situation, use various means of communication. I particularly remember the 'Procession of the Magi' which takes place in Poland." One of these took place in Krakow, with the participation, as every year, of the Salesian Missionary Volunteer "Młodzi Światu", which was part of the "green" group of the parade, and one of the three kings was the young Vietnamese Salesian, Nguyen Hung Trung, student of the Salesian Theologate in Krakow. The whole journey of the “green” group, which ended in Krakow's Main Market Square, began with Holy Mass in the Salesian church of St Stanislao Kostka in Dębniki, and then continued with Christmas carols in an atmosphere of true joy and peace. The initiative also had a charitable purpose.
