Colombia - First profession of six Salesians
La Ceja, Colombia - January 2022 - On January 15, at the Salesian College Santo Domingo Savio, six Salesians made their first religious profession: Carlos Eduardo Bermeo Navia, Leonardo Rojas Justiniano, and Yery Rojas Hurtado, from the Province of Bolivia (BOL); Gustavo Rubén Quishpe Ayala, from the Province of Ecuador (ECU); Miguel Ángel Baena Orozco, from the Province of Colombia-Medellín (COM); and Rómulo Yordan Valera Quispilaya, from the Province of Peru (PER). The profession was made at the conclusion of the novitiate experience, under the direction of Master Fr Jorge Guillermo Toro Alzate. The celebration was presided by Fr Luis Fernando Valencia, COM Provincial, in the presence of Fr Líder Justiniano, BOL Provincial, Fr Manuel Cayo, PER Provincial, and Fr Francisco Sánchez, ECU Provincial.
