Peru - March 2022 - The virtual meeting of the Provincial Delegates of the Salesian Schools of Don Bosco, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, the Daughters of the Sacred Hearts, and the Daughters of the Divine Savior took place on March 24 and 25. The event was held under the guidance of Sister Ivone Goulart Lopes, FMA, of the Youth Ministry Sector, Fr Claudio Cartes, SDB, of the Youth Ministry Sector, and Sister Victoria Paz, the region’s contact person. The inaugural session was accompanied by Sr. Elsy Núñez and Fr. Manuel Cayo, Provincials of the FMA and SDB Provinces of Peru, the host country of the meeting. Sister Runita Borja, General Councilor for FMA Youth Ministry, through a video-message, underlined "the need to put the person at the center, especially children, adolescents and young people in growth (...). Let us promote initiatives where children and youth are protagonists in the identification of challenges and in the research and implementation to give answers." The meeting’s objectives were to foster the sense of identity of the Salesian School America and the networking of the ANDINA and CINAB region through the dissemination of best practices of implementation of the axes of ESA IV.
