Oman - The first priestly ordination is Salesian
Ruwi, Oman - March 2022 - Msgr. Paul Hinder, Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia, ordained Salesian Eugene Dickson to the priesthood on Friday, March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Ruwi. The celebration constituted a historic milestone as it is the first priestly ordination in the history of Oman. Eugene Dickson was born in India, but grew up in Oman, and belongs to the Salesian Province of India-Bangalore (INK).
