Cameroon - Retreat for theology students of "St. Augustine" community
Mbalmayo, Cameroon - April 2022 - The Salesian community of the "St. Augustine" theologate in Youndé has organized a retreat for its theology students at the "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" Welcome Center in Mbalmayo. The retreat, on the theme of "Chastity for Consecrated Persons", consisted of a day of prayer, meditation, and reconciliation, was led by Fr Pietro Bano, SDB, who emphasized that every consecrated person is called to live a perfect life of chastity in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and that the Cross must be at the center of his life to guide him in his service and accompaniment. After time for personal reflection, a penitential liturgy was organized, followed by the Eucharistic celebration that concluded the retreat.
