Cameroon - Beginning of Provincial Chapter of ATE Vice-Province
Yaoundé, Cameroon - April 2022 - In the early afternoon of April 18, the chapter members of the 8th Provincial Chapter of the Equatorial Tropical Africa Vice-Province (ATE) gathered in the "Saint Augustine" theologate of Nkol'Afeme to be guided by the Holy Spirit during the week of work. Fr Franck Paré, CMF, led the meditation on the theme "I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is in you" (2 Tim 1:6). After the Eucharistic celebration, the Chapter Assembly met for the reading and approval of the Rules of Procedure, followed by the elections of the Regulators Fr Benoit Nzie and Salesian Coadjutor Bro. David Metoule; of the Secretaries Fr Davy Bouetoutamio, the Salesian Coadjutor Bro. Merci Frumence Mbacho and Fr Alphonse Edou; and of the Scrutineers Fr Pietro Bano and Noé Leprince Moussa. The session ended with a "Good Night" by Fr Roland Mintsa, Superior of the ATE Vice-Province, who invited all the Salesians of the Vice-Province to live the fidelity of Don Bosco following the example of John Cagliero: "Brother or not brother, I remain with Don Bosco."
