Lawaan, Philippines - April 2022 - During Holy Week, in the context of the Extraordinary Visit to the Province of the North Philippines (FIN), Fr Alfred Maravilla, General Councilor for the Missions, also went to Cebu to meet the Provincial and the Council of the Province of the South Philippines (FIS). The purpose of his visit was to deal with issues concerning the Salesian presence in Pakistan and the formation issues that affect both the FIN and FIS Provinces, particularly the pre-novitiate and post-novitiate phases. During his visit, he also met the 28 university aspirants of the FIS Province in Lawaan and their formation guides.
