D.R. Congo - Study, prayer, and service for youths of Salesian Missionary Group
Kinshasa, D.R. Congo - May 2022 - On May 7 and 8, the young people of the Salesian Missionary Group of Kinshasa organized the first edition of the "Study, Prayer and Service Weekend". This activity aims to allow young missionaries to live the weekend differently in the deepening of their missionary identity and fraternal joy. This is done through the study of various missionary documents, moments of meeting, and service to others. For this first edition, the Missionary Group was composed of about forty young people gathered at the Salesian Institute "La Gombe 2". On the evening of May 7, Fr Jacques Isha, SDB, leader of the group, gave a lecture on the identity of the Salesian missionary, followed by a moment of sharing, exchange, and deepening. The following day, Sister Bernadette Kappy, FMA, animated a conference on "The importance of prayer in the life of the young missionary".
