Madagascar - Awareness campaign on importance of biogas energy for Salesian Vocational Training Centers
Fianarantsoa, Madagascar - May 2022 - The "Mobile Team," in Madagascar, led by environmental specialist Razafimizanilala Andree Ann Marie, is currently conducting its fourth biogas energy awareness campaign at the "Don Bosco Job Training Center" in Fianarantsoa. The campaign will last four weeks and will take place in all Salesian Vocational Training Centers in the country. To mitigate climate change in the region, which has experienced massive deforestation, the team is creating awareness among young people about the importance of biogas as a renewable and clean energy source. This awareness-raising campaign is one of the activities of the ecological project targeting Vocational Training Centers by "Don Bosco Tech Africa," supported by the German Ministry for Development Cooperation (BMZ) and implemented by the Salesian Planning and Development Office of the Madagascar Vice-Province (MDG).
