Fatima, Portugal - May 2022 - The organization "WYD DON BOSCO 23" was officially presented last May 21 in Fatima on the National Day of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM). The presentation took place at the end of "Art and Faith," the Salesian festival that concludes the SYM Day celebrations and this year brought together some 1,500 youth and members of the Salesian Family. In the auditorium of the "Paul VI" Center, João Xavier Fialho, coordinator of "WYD DON BOSCO 2023," officially presented the organization, making known some initiatives already underway, as well as some dates and official information. At the end of the presentation, World Youth Day crosses were handed out to the heads of the various Salesian houses, as a sign of the beginning of each house's journey toward this great youth event that will take place in Lisbon in 2023. There was also a meeting of the organization's various teams. "WYD DON BOSCO 23" is the name of the SYM organization in charge of inviting young people from the various Salesian environments around the world to participate in WYD 2023 in Lisbon, living it according to the charism of Don Bosco.
