Shillong, India - May 2022 - After a year of intense preparation, study, prayer and reflection, twenty-three novices made their first commitment to the Salesian Congregation last May 24 at the "Don Bosco" Novitiate in Sunnyside, Shillong. The ceremony was presided over by Fr. Paul O. Lyngkot, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Shillong (INS), in the presence of Fr. Langne Joseph Teron, Vicar of the Guwahati Province, and Fr. Vettah Jose, Novice Master. The day of celebration was even more solemn because on the same occasion twelve clerics took their perpetual vows. Fr.
