Brazil - Meeting of presidents and delegates of federations of Latin American Past Pupils
Brazil - May 2022 - An online meeting was held on May 25 among the presidents and delegates of the Latin American federations of Don Bosco Past Pupils, convened by Eduardo Pessoa Cavalcante (Brazil), Vice President of the World Confederation of Don Bosco Past Pupils and World Councilor for the Americas. The meeting began with the following agenda: opening prayer; thematic committees: adapt and expand to serve better; possible dates for upcoming meetings and regional congresses; open interventions; and final message. Participants were encouraged by the opening prayer of Mario Lizano, President of the Costa Rican Alumni, who invited them to listen, obey and act like the Blessed Virgin. Then Eduardo Pessoa Cavalcante, shared the proposed work and organization where the intention to walk together, in communion, with faith and perseverance predominates. It was a beautiful and fruitful meeting where listening, sharing, dialogue and joy prevailed, thanks also to the help of the head of the Secretariat, the President of the Past Pupils of Argentina, Hugo Omar Marinoni. At the end all participants were thanked, reiterating the importance of the presence of Salesian delegates.
