Johannesburg, South Africa – July 2022 - On Saturday, 2 July, the Salesian Provincial House in Booysens, Johannesburg hosted the Youth Team from Radio Veritas [South Africa's only Catholic radio station]. The day started with mass with Fr. Lingoane Tlaile SDB the main celebrant, and also with Fr. Dino Miotto and Fr. Joseph Nguyen concelebrating. During mass, prayers were offered up for the young people of 1976 and the youth of today who face so many challenges. The theme of the day was Dare To Make A Move. The other activities included a Bible Trivia, testimonials by Sicelo Ntuli who encouraged the youth to find their purpose in life. The Let Them Dance group entertained us with their high energy pantsula dance moves. It was very encouraging to see the passion the youth presenters of Radio Veritas have for their work and service as missionaries online. One could see how these presenters live and embrace the motto of the station: The Good News For A Change.
