Poland - 400 youth and Salesians participate in Boski Festival Lite 2022 in Piła

Piła, Poland - September 2022 - For three days the Salesian heart of the Piła Province (PLN) beat to the rhythm of youth. About four hundred youth and Salesians came to Piła for the "Boski Festival Lite 2022" to inaugurate the new formation year of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM). From September 16-18, young people from various parts of northwestern Poland and even from Berlin came to the Salesian center, and representatives of Salesian evangelization communities from across the country were also present. Friday evening was devoted to the integration of the Festival participants, and the traditional "good night" by Fr. Darek Presnal, SDB, pastor. On Saturday morning more representatives of schools and educational centers from the Piła Province arrived to participate in the Eucharist inaugurating the new SYM school and educational year, presided over by Fr. Tadeusz Itrych SDB, PLN Provincial. The Festival was attended by children, students, and youth workers. Four workshop proposals were prepared, led by specialists, and immediately afterward the Divine Mercy Chaplet was recited together, followed by a time dedicated to the individual SYM communities. Then in the evening the musical group Luxtorpeda performed, accompanied on stage by the Bosko Bandits, a band formed by Salesians, with Fr. Dariusz Presnal, SDB, at the microphone. In addition, during the concerts, the group "Oasis of Prayer" led the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the priests conducted sacramental ministry.
