Burundi – Ngozi "Don Bosco" High School celebrates its first 60 years in service to young people

Ngozi, Burundi - November 2022 - Saturday, November 5, was a day of celebration and joy for the "Don Bosco" High School in Ngozi, Burundi. On this date, the first 60 years of the Institute were celebrated in the presence of many Salesians, members of the Salesian Family, civil, political and military authorities, collaborators, and faithful, all flocking to pay homage to this school that has always been at the service of young people. On this important anniversary, Msgr. Georges Bizimana, Bishop of Ngozi and former student of "Don Bosco" High School, celebrated the Mass. The grand celebration was also enriched by the presence of the Superior of the Africa Great Lakes Vice-Province (AGL), Fr. Pierre-Célestin Ngoboka. On the same date, in an atmosphere of joy, the 50th anniversary of Fr. Joseph Kabadugaritse's religious life and the 25th anniversary of Salesian Coadjutor Br. Laurent Minani, SDB, were also celebrated.
