Montevideo, Uruguay - November 2022 - On November 21, the Extraordinary Visit to the Salesian Province of Uruguay (URU) was concluded, led by Fr. Gabriel Romero, Councilor for the Southern Cone America Region, on behalf of the Rector Major.  During the meeting with the Provincial Council, they spoke on the realities and challenges facing the province. In the Pre-Chapter Assembly, the potentialities, dreams, and hopes that move the journey were also presented. Together they thanked God for the vitality of the Province, which for years has been consolidating a common path of formation and mission with the laity, a strong oratorian and missionary sensibility, and a great commitment to professional, pre-university, and job placement formation.
