East Asia-Oceania - December 2022 - On Saturday, December 17, the young leaders of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), together with the Salesians of the East Asia-Oceania Region, gathered online for a time of reflection as we entered the fourth and final week of the Advent season. Youth leaders Jennifer Lie (INA), Kathryn (CIN) and Takahiro Fukuda (GIA) coordinated and planned the event, with Teaghan Dolan (AUL) as the presenter. The day was attended by youth from AUL, CIN, GIA, and INA provinces, as well as Fr. Vince Michael Sabal, SDB (FIS), Fr. Robert Simon, SDB (INN), and Fr. Joebeth Vivo, SDB (SYM Coordinator). The main presentation was given by Fr. Noel Villafuerte (INA), focusing on the verse "Mary rose and departed in haste" (Lk. 1:39) and the Salesian presence this Christmas.
