The project, called "Sneha veedu" (the house of love), has already resulted in the construction of five houses for poor and needy families in the area. The new building, about 70 square meters in size, with three bedrooms, a hall, a kitchen, a work area, and a seating area cost 8,000 rupees. The money for the construction was raised by students and volunteers through various fundraising programs.
