Barcelona, Spain - March 2023 - The executive assembly of the Don Bosco Confederation and the Salesian Youth Movement Council met in Barcelona at the Salesian work of Martí Codolar from Friday, March 10 to Sunday, March 12, 2023. It was a special circumstance in which, in addition to expounding and commenting on the topics planned in the assembly, the participants were able to make a cultural visit to the city, particularly to the "Sagrada Familia," thanks to one of the member entities, the "Federation of Don Bosco Youth Centers of Catalonia." During the assembly, Pilar Blasco led the educational moment of the weekend, and the Board of Directors presented the report of activities for the year 2022, summarizing all the progress in each of the areas of action, as well as activities, projects and good practices in the areas of transparency, politics and equality. The member entities also had a moment to comment on the ongoing progress of the federations: accompaniment of youth centers and associations, changes and dynamics of Governing Councils, technical teams, and network participation of autonomous entities of their own. At another time, the 2023 Work Plan was presented and approved, the dates of the regular and Board meetings, the functioning of the operational and working groups were presented, and the Equality Plan, the change of the Confederation's headquarters for next September, and proposed actions for themes and programs were also approved.
