Lisbon, Portugal - March 2023 - The group of world leaders of the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA) met with members of the team in charge of preparing the International Congress of Mary Help of Christians, to be held in Fatima in 2024. From March 24 to 26, a group of ADMA leaders and the ADMA Primary group from Valdocco (Turin) visited Portugal with the aim of preparing for the Congress and learning about the Fatima sites where it will take place. Fr. Alejandro Guevara, ADMA World Spiritual Animator, Sister Lucrecia Uribe, FMA World Delegate, and members of the Valdocco Primary ADMA - Renato Valera, Giovanni Scavino, Barbara Mario, Barbara Rosa Clot, Elisabetta Seno and Francesca Cederle - gathered in Lisbon at the headquarters of the Salesian Province of Portugal (POR). At the end of the meeting, Fr. Guevara thanked everyone for the support and the opportunity to meet with the Provincial, Fr. José Aníbal Mendonça, the Provincial Vicar, Fr. João Chaves, and Fr. António Marcelino, from the team that is preparing the congress. "These are days of fraternity, preparation, knowledge, accompanied at all times by the hand of Mary. I believe we are on the right track to prepare a beautiful experience of faith, prayer and encounter for all members of the Salesian Family," he said. The International Congress of Mary Help of Christians, a Marian event held every four years, will see the participation of the Rector Major and will take place from August 29 to September 1, 2024 in Fatima. The title chosen for this event will be "I will give you the teacher," in memory of Don Bosco's nine-year dream, whose 200th anniversary will be celebrated in 2024.
