Argentina - Partnership between the Salesians of the ARN Province and Banco Santander to create educational and employment opportunities
Córdoba, Argentina - October 2025 - The Salesians of the Argentina North (ARN) Province and ‘Banco Santander’ have launched a joint initiative that will expand educational and employment opportunities for 321 young people, adults and entrepreneurs at six Professional Training Centres in the Argentine provinces of Salta, Santiago del Estero, Concepción del Uruguay, Córdoba and Rosario. This partnership is part of the collaborative work that the Salesians of Northern Argentina carry out with various public and private organisations, with the aim of deepening their educational and pastoral work with the most vulnerable populations in our territory. The initiative is part of the 10,000 scholarship programme that Santander is promoting in 2025. The ARN Province is one of the partner institutions in the implementation of actions to broaden inclusion and facilitate access to work. The Province received a visit from the Santander team, and a visit was made to the “San Juan Bosco” Vocational Training Centre at the Salesian House of San Antonio of Padua, in Córdoba. This meeting served to strengthen our common commitment to the vocational training and integral development of the people we support. ‘We are grateful for the joint work with Santander and renew our mission to continue working, in the style of Don Bosco, to support the young people who need it most,’ write the Salesians of northern Argentina.
