Biancavilla, Italy - December 2025 - On Sunday 14 December, at 1 p.m., with free admission, the CGS LIFE - APS group from Biancavilla (CT), on the occasion of the Jubilee of Prisoners, will present the musical “Oltre le grate” at the Via della Conciliazione Auditorium in Rome. For fifty years, the group has been working with young people and at the service of young people, evangelising through cinema, music and, in particular, the production of musicals that they stage in Italy and abroad.  “Oltre le grate”  came about as a result of the experience of a cloistered nun close to the CGS Salesian youth group. Through a dense correspondence with inmates from all over Italy, she collected stories of repentance, hope and a desire for reconciliation. The musical brings these testimonies to the stage to convey a message of love, closeness and hope to those who are imprisoned and to sensitise those on the outside to break the barriers of indifference. The musical has already been taken to various prisons and has been received with great enthusiasm and interest.
