India - Educational project for children of rural areas

Ahmednagar, India - October 2018 - The "Don Bosco Development Society" (DBDS), through the "Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra" of Ahmednagar, carries out the program "Village Education Project", an educational program in favor of children studying in 30 government schools in rural areas of central Maharashtra. On 29 October, Fr Rolvin D'Mello, Executive Director of DBDS, visited the project and, after being welcomed by the director, Fr. George D'Abreo, said that the project serves to raise the quality of the education of those institutions, and that over 2700 students will benefit from the project over the next three years.
