El Salvador - Delegate of Rector Major for Salesian Family on visit to Daughters of Divine Savior
Santo Domingo, El Salvador - November 2018 - On 10 and 11 November, Fr Eusebio Muñoz, Delegate of the Rector Major for the Salesian Family (FS), visited the Congregation of the Daughters of the Divine Savior (HDS), founded in 1956 by the Salesian bishop Pedro Arnoldo Aparicio and officially belonging to the SF since 1987. The nuns are dedicated to educating and evangelizing the children and young people who attend public schools in the area and contribute to the catechetical activity of the parishes. Fr Muñoz was received with an artistic evening prepared by the novices. The following day he celebrated the Eucharist and guided the quarterly retreat. Fr Muñoz then met the Superior General, Sister Amarilis Orozco, and her Council. After lunch and an artistic exhibition, Fr Muñoz visited one of the schools where the sisters work.
