Bratislava, Slovakia - November 2018 - From 16 to 18 November the meeting of the heads of the Prenovitiates of Central and Northern Europe took place, led by Fr Francisco Santos, a member of the Dicastery for Formation. The themes dealt with touched the specific reality of the prenovitiate: the reality lived; the experience at Colle Don Bosco; formation in the prenovitiate; good practices; Salesian personal accompaniment; training of formators. The directors of the prenovitiate shared the formative experiences, the joys and difficulties they encounter every day. The most extensive part of the meeting was dedicated to sharing the preparatory experience of the prenovitiate at Colle Don Bosco, held last August. From the book of Marco Bay "Young Salesians and Accompaniment", the initial chapters of introduction and key elements were discussed, as were sections concerned with this stage of formation. The participants then shared their good practices. During the meeting, the participants made a pilgrimage to the church where the relics of the Salesian blessed Fr Titus Zeman, martyr for vocations, are kept.
