Ełk, Poland - June 2019 - On June 14 and 15, at the Salesian parish in Ełk, the 24th edition of the Salesian Youth Games of the Warsaw Province (PLE) was held. About 500 boys and girls competed in various disciplines: mini-football, volleyball and table tennis. On Saturday 15 June, all the young athletes participated in the Holy Mass, during which the new Superior of the Warsaw Province, Fr Tadeusz Jarecki, current parish priest and director of the Salesian community in Ełk, took office. In addition to the awarding of medals and cups to the winners, by Fr Tadeusz Rozmus, Councilor for the Central and Northern Europe Region, of the new and outgoing Provincials of PLE, and of some illustrious guests, the program of the games also included the "Valdocco" party.
