Kenya - Youths of "Don Bosco Boys' Town" plant 100 trees
Nairobi, Kenya - June 2019 - On June 5, the young people of the Salesian "Don Bosco Boys' Town" center in Nairobi celebrated World Environment Day by planting 100 saplings destined to become trees in the "Don Bosco Compound" and in the surrounding areas , donated by "Nairobi Forestry-Kenya". The day focused on the theme "Air pollution, a silent killer", and also saw the launch of the "Green Alliance Movement" for students, which will raise awareness about environmental issues for the community. In addition, the monthly festival program was held, attended by 410 young people, on the theme “Models of holiness in Africa. All for the glory of God.”
