Papua New Guinea – Feast of Papua New Guinea/Solomon Islands Vice Province
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - July 2019 - The Salesians of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands (PGS), after the annual retreat led by Fr Joe Boenzi, SDB, of Berkeley, United States, celebrated the Feast of the PGS Vice Province on 6 July. The event took place in a natural park, with games and sports, with the aim of promoting fraternity and interculturality among Salesians from 16 countries. The Eucharist, fraternal agape and multicultural presentations completed the day. The PGS Vice Province consists of 9 communities and 46 Salesians distributed between Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
