India - Taking care of the health of people from slums

Mumbai, India - 15 August 2019 – Mumbai's "Don Bosco Development Society" organized a free health camp for the slum dwellers of Giridhar Tambe Nagar. 177 patients, including women, men and children, were visited by doctors and nurses in the camp. In particular, the medical staff focused on patients' eyesight and anemia problems and distributed vitamins and ointments. This medical field camp, one more of the many others the "Don Bosco Development Society" organizes for the inhabitants of the slums of Mumbai, was supported by the Auxilium India association.
