Canada - Meeting of Provincial Economers of Interamerica and America South Cone regions
Niagara Falls, Canada - September 2019 - From 2 to 5 September, the continental meeting of the Provincial Economers of the Interamerica and America South Cone regions took place in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The event was organized and coordinated by Salesian brother Jean Paul Muller, Economer General of the Salesian Congregation, and his team, with the support of the Salesian Province of the United States East and Canada (SUE). During the meeting, the participants reflected on economics at the service of the charism and of the mission, animation and government, basing themselves on Salesian and Vatican documents and on practical experience; they discussed strategic planning and PDOs, the financial report and the investment risk, and shared experiences, moments of prayer and fraternity. The new Manual of the Provincial Economer was also presented.
