New Delhi, India - August 2019 - The "Don Bosco Youth Center" of Shillong was awarded the "International Education Icon Award 2019" in the category "Top Ten Favorite School / Institution Award 2019" for its large number of registrations obtained in recent years. Only 20 schools out of 10,000, from 20 different countries, were selected to participate in the event. On August 24, the Director of the "Don Bosco Youth Center", Fr Michael Makri, SDB, received the award conferred by Daniel Chuburu, ambassador of the Republic of Argentina. The "Don Bosco Youth Center" has recently obtained ISO certification and offers about 32 courses: computers, media, hardware, tailoring, embroidery, etc.
