Philippines - Two Salesians win “Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Award”
Manila, Philippines - September 2019 - On September 11, during the opening of the 40th Manila International Book Fair, a ceremony was held to award the 13th "Cardinal Sin Catholic Book". Two Salesian priests won in their respective categories: Fr Salvatore Putzu, editor of "Word And Life Publications", won in the "Liturgy" category, for the periodical "Exploring the Word of God"; and Fr Juvelan Paul Samia, head of the Salesian Youth Movement in the Northern Philippines and responsible for the pastoral care of the "Don Bosco Technical Institute" in Makati City, in the "Theology" category, with his book "Tayo na sa antipolo".
