Dili, East Timor - October 2019 - On the occasion of the Animation Visit of Fr Václav Klement, Councilor for the East Asia-Oceania Region, and of Sr. Maria Luisa Miranda, FMA, General Councilor for the Salesian Family, about 100 members of the Salesian Family of East Timor met on October 18 for a joint reflection on the Salesian mission. The meeting began with the Eucharist presided by Fr Apolinário Neto, Superior of the Vice Province of East Timor (TLS), followed by a moment of formation and the interventions of Sr. Miranda, focused on Salesian holiness today, and by Fr Klement, on Salesian Mission Day 2019. The Salesian Family groups then shared their activities in favor of needy families and young people and outlined some possible lines of action for the future.
