Uganda - Visit of Economer General of Salesian Congregation
Namugongo, Uganda - October 2019 - The Economer General of the Salesian Congregation, Salesian Brother Jean Paul Muller, visited the Salesian community of Namugongo on 17 October, accompanied by Fr Josef Grünner, Director of the Mission Office of Bonn, Germany, and a lay collaborator of the Office. The visitors were able to see the local Salesian work in detail; they examined all the areas of the mission, offered suggestions for improvement, and saw the new structures that have benefited from the help of various Mission Offices. During the meeting with the students, Br. Muller encouraged young people and teaching staff to hold dear the structures and education that Salesians offer them. He then praised the Salesians for their service and urged them to continue their work for the youth of Uganda.
