Guatemala City, Guatemala - 26 November 2019 - At the Salesian theologate in Guatemala City, Fr Timothy Ploch, Councilor for the Interamerica Region, celebrated the closing of the Extraordinary Visitation of the Salesian Province of the "Divine Savior" in Central America (CAM). In the afternoon, the Salesians completing their spiritual exercises, many of them Directors of the various communities, and the Salesians of Guatemala, gathered in the multipurpose hall of the Salesian Youth Center where Fr Ploch shared his vision of the Salesian works of the CAM Province. He also offered several suggestions for continuing educational and pastoral work. The Councilor underlined the richness of the CAM Province, with six countries, with different cultures, a large number of Salesian works and the presence of ten groups of the Salesian Family. In a moment of fraternity, he shared the conclusions of his Extraordinary Visitation. He then presided over the final Eucharistic celebration, during which the Salesians renewed their religious profession.
