Embu, Kenya - December 2019 - The Salesian Province of East Africa (AFE) organized the 2019 Forum of the Salesian Youth Movement on the theme of the Rector Major's Strenna - "Holiness for you, too" - from 16 to 21 December. The event took place in the premises of the "Don Bosco Technical Secondary School Embu" and the "Don Bosco Girls Mazzarello." Over 500 young people from the Salesian presences of Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan, South Sudan, D.R. Congo, Burundi and Ethiopia took part. Also present: Fr Simon Asira, AFE Provincial, Sister Giselle Ndekezi, FMA Provincial, 35 SDB and 25 FMA. Young people were able to attend various conferences, Eucharistic celebrations, lived moments of prayer and reflection and carried out theatrical activities inspired by the lives of the saints, cultural presentations and sang Christmas carols.
