Peru - Missions strengthened with presence of Msgr. Marcelo Melani
Pucallpa, Peru - December 2019 - Bishop Marcelo Melani, SDB, emeritus bishop of Neuquén, undertook his trip to Peru as an "ad vitam" missionary, as part of the 150th Missionary Expedition. After a few months of missionary formation at the Salesian Pontifical University of Rome, he left for the "Santa Rosa" Salesian Province of Lima, Peru (PER), on 12 December; on the 17th, he moved to Pucallpa, site of his pastoral activity. Pucallpa means "red earth"; it has a very hot and moderately rainy climate.
