D.R. Congo - Spiritual retreat for Salesian Cooperators of Bukavu
Bukavu, R.D. Congo - January 2020 – As per a good tradition, from 1 to 4 January, the Salesian Cooperators of Bukavu spent three days in a spiritual retreat. This year, they were welcomed into the philosophy majors seminary of Murhesa, located about twenty km from Bukavu, in a green and silent valley. 10 people, 5 men and 5 women, including two married couples, and 3 aspiring Salesian Cooperators were able to participate in the retreat. The retreat was animated by Fr Piero Gavioli, SDB, delegate from the center of Bukavu, who commented on the 2nd chapter of the Project of Apostolic Life, "The apostolic commitment of the Salesian Cooperator". Reflection and prayer allowed the participants in the retreat to consecrate all the activities of this new year to the Lord.
