Brazil - Opening of Novitiate year in Barbacena
Barbacena, Brazil - January 2020 - On January 31, the solemnity of Saint John Bosco, the opening celebration of the Novitiate Year of the Brazilian Salesian Provinces of Manaus (BMA), Campo Grande (BCG) and Belo took place in the city of Barbacena Horizonte (BBH). In this celebration, Fr Orestes Carlinhos Fistarol, BBH Provincial, and Fr Elias Roberto, BCG Vicar Provincial, entrusted the 23 novices to the care of Fr Adalberto Alves, SDB, Master of Novices, and to the other formators of the Salesian community.
