India - Don Bosco College of Agriculture blood donation campaign

Sulcorna, India - February 2020 - On 15 February, the "Don Bosco College of Agriculture" (DBCA) of Sulcorna, belonging to the Salesian Province of India-Panjim (INP), organized a blood donation campaign together with the "Blood Bank Hospicio" of Margao. Fifty-four volunteers in all, including professors, teachers and students, donated their blood, taken by Dr. Ravin Rego and Saniya Makandar with a team of 6 nurses. Dr Ravin, addressing the students, said that there is a growing need for blood in the state of Goa, and an individual's donation is important and benefits one's own health.
